After graduating form Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich (LMU), Germany, in 2010 Dr. Schrötzlmair finished his doctoral thesis at Technical University of Munich, Germany. His thesis focussed on mechanisms of liver metastasis in a transgeneic mouse model. After several months as a post-doctoral researcher he joined the ENT departement of LMU where he completed his ENT training, now serving as a consultant. Since 2014 he is one of the department’s otorhinolaryngologists who are responsible for diagnostic procedures and therapy of salivary gland diseases, including tumour surgery, sialendoscopy and open approaches to treat sialolithiasis. His current research concentrates on sialolithiasis treatment, laser therapy in ENT and middle ear surgery. Additionally, he is responsible for the organization of all students' courses at the ENT department."
